Nikon Pro-body Tips
Nikon Camera Setting Tips
These settings apply to the pro and pro-consumer models.
Assign the OK Button to Zoom into the Image Being Reviewed
Assign the OK button to zoom into the captured image at 100%.

Now, when pressing OK, the image will zoom into the point of focus so that the photographer can check that the image is sharp and focused on what he wants.
Fast Image Playback with Command Dials
Scroll through your images superfast using the command dials.

Temporarily Disable Flash
If it is too much of a hassle to turn off the flash, then assign it to a button on the camera.

Quickly Zoom to 100% in Live View
Live view is great for focusing critically. Assign a button to it.

Now, turn-on live view and move the focus box anywhere and then press the OK button and the camera will magnify that area so the photographer can check focus.
Use the Movie Record Button to Change ISO or Another Setting
Yes, there is an ISO button on some camera backs, but this allows the photographer to change the ISO using the useless movie button while looking through the viewfinder. (Some Nikon cameras have an ISO button near the shutter anyway.)
