Gitzo G 01 Tripod
The construction of this little tripod is excellent as one would expect of a Gitzo. It weighs 2 lbs. and is 4 ft. high. Because it is so short, a big tripod head as well as a battery grip on the camera helps with the height.
When fully extended, there is some flex in the design as its aluminum is not as rigid as carbon fiber. This tripod has very thin legs and is very thin overall when folded. It is made in France.
The center column is reversible to get the camera low on the subject.
The finish is power-coated and as such is rather fragile.
There is not much else worth mentioning about this tripod.
