Nikon SB-910 Speedlight/Flash
The SB-910 is 14 years old and was Nikon's top-of-the-line professional flash at the time. Its cost was $550. It has the simplier control layout similar to the Nikon SB-700, which is an improvement over the complex function access of the Nikon SB-600 and Nikon SB-800.
This flash can function as a remote or master flash with the simple turn of a knob. The channel and group are easily selected. It has Auto FP High-Speed Sync which allows shutter speeds up to 1/8000th sec.
The flash head tilts up and rotates to bounce it off the ceiling and walls. The power zoom works as a zoom lens is zoomed in and out or a lens is changed. It performs various TTL and Manual flash operations. It has Auto non-TTL functions.
This flash covers the field of view of a 12mm lens, which is really excellent. To go wider, bounce the flash off the ceiling or wall. There is a little diffusor that pulls out to make the flash cover the field of view of a 12mm, 14mm or 17mm lens.
The flash covers the field of view of 12mm, 14mm, 17mm, 18mm, 20mm, 24mm, 28mm, 35mm, 50mm, 70mm, 85mm, 105mm, 120mm, 135mm lenses.
Complaints
Does not have radio communication with other Nikon flashes, only infrared.
